Department: Security

Location: St. Clair Hospital

Schedule: Mon-Tues 2:30pm-11pm, Wed 11pm-7am, off Thu-Fri, Sat-Sun 7am-3pm

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors.
2. Perform proactive monitoring and respond promptly to potential/actual security threats.
3. Investigate, document, and manage security incidents and hazards.
4. Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster plans; facilitate drills and simulations.
5. Assist staff and visitors to promote safety.
6. Operate in a safe and responsible manner to prevent accidents and violations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted).
• In-state (Alabama) concealed carry weapons permit.
• Driver's license from the Alabama DMV.
• Security Professional certification preferred.
• High School diploma or 1 year of applicable experience required.
• Note: Licensure/certification can substitute for education/experience if applicable.
