Job description

Job Title: Armed Security Officer - Anniston, AL

Join Walden Security as an Armed Security Officer at the Center for Domestic Preparedness. This is a full-time, entry-level position offering a pay rate of $17.70 per hour.

Responsibilities:

1. Follow all assigned post orders, both general and specific.
2. Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and the Statement of Work (SOW).
3. Control access to the facility, including unrestricted areas.
4. Enforce personnel identification systems.
5. Inspect packages and vehicles.
6. Perform static and roving patrols.
7. Identify, correct, and secure security violations; prepare necessary reports.
8. Detain and report persons suspected of violations or unauthorized access until law enforcement arrives.
9. Perform traffic control as needed.
10. Manage keys, locks, and access control passes.
11. Monitor facility protection devices and alarm systems.
12. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
13. Complete required monthly training and pass semi-annual weapons qualification.
14. Perform additional duties as assigned.
