Allied Universal in Pomona, CA is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol, Alarm Handling). You will provide customer service to clients, monitor facilities, respond calmly to incidents, protect entry points, and help deter security-related issues at a logistics and distribution site.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

You will respond to alarms, assist employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Sun 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
