Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Chino, CA to protect residents and property. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and provide professional customer service in a residential community.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff while following site procedures and security protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization; maintain logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify relevant personnel.
• Help maintain a professional presence to deter unauthorized access and disturbances.

• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols in a residential community.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking locations, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Help maintain a professional presence that supports a welcoming residential environment and helps deter unauthorized access and disruptive activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
