Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring for a full-time overnight security role in Manchester, NH. You will provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees and government personnel while enforcing site policies and responding to emergencies.

Responsibilities include patrols of terminals, parking areas and perimeters, monitoring access points, reporting incidents, and documenting observations in line with site procedures. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• State/city-issued security license preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, perimeters and other assigned areas.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and coordinate with emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents and observations accurately and promptly per Allied Universal requirements.

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and government personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas; working conditions may vary across the location.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
