Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Active Overnight Patrol in Tempe, AZ. You will monitor and patrol a financial institution, maintain a visible security presence, and deliver excellent customer service while following site policies and procedures.

Additional duties include completing accurate incident reports, supporting a safe environment, and adhering to licensing and background-check requirements. This role requires integrity and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• One year of law enforcement experience, two years of security supervisor/manager experience, or three years of security experience.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Criminal histories considered in accordance with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, lobby areas, parking areas, and other assigned locations; verify visitor authorization and follow site procedures for access control.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or three years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
