You will work with a reliable team at a telecommunications and technology site, following site procedures and shift schedules. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with background checks and drug testing as applicable.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks in compliance with laws will apply.
• Drug screening is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a telecommunications and technology site by following procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor/vendor authorization per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies and notify appropriate contacts.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift communications.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a telecommunications and technology-related location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and/or vendor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while reporting potential security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
