Allied Universal in Liberty, MO is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time split shift. You will guard clients across multiple industries, manage access points, verify credentials, monitor visitor logs, and respond calmly to incidents.

The role includes a fixed daytime/nighttime schedule with shifts across 10:00 PM–06:00 AM and 06:00 AM–02:00 PM variants. Minimum requirements include 18+ for unarmed roles, a high school diploma, and successful background/drug screening as per laws.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and support authorized entry and exit procedures for employees, contractors, and guests.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, common areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate documentation of access activity, incidents, and policy exceptions, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:
