Allied Universal in Liberty, MO is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Access Verification Desk to monitor entrances, verify credentials, and provide professional customer service at a technology-focused site.

You will work day/evening shifts, perform patrols, log incidents, and follow site policies while upholding our people-first culture and integrity.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by enforcing access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor registration, and maintain access-related records.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, work areas, parking, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and actions taken and communicate professionally with site contacts.

You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor registration, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, business operations spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership while documenting incidents, observations, and actions taken.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
