Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Management Driver in Sulphur, LA. Qualifications

• Has a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of law enforcement or 2 years security supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet; preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a chemical and petrochemical location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct individuals according to site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, assigned areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and access-control documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

• Thur 04:30 PM - 04:30 AM
• Fri 04:30 PM - 04:30 AM
• Sat 04:30 PM - 04:30 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security supervisor or manager experience, or three years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have access control or badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
