Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Vehicle Entry Driver in Sulphur, LA to protect clients at chemical and industrial sites. You will manage site access, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and maintain visitor records while delivering strong customer service.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license and security-related experience. You will work a structured schedule, receive training, and have opportunities for career growth within Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required in the state of employment.
• 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify IDs and authorization credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain access-control records.
• Screen visitors, contractors, deliveries, and vehicles per site requirements and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site protocols while notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas and perimeters to deter security-related incidents.

As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience

• Mon: 04:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Tue: 04:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Wed: 04:00 AM - 10:00 AM
• Sun: 04:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Screen visitors, contractors, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
