Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Vehicle Entry Driver in Sulphur, LA, responsible for managing site entry, credential verification, and access control at a chemical/petrochemical location. The position is full-time with a daytime schedule and a pay rate of $15.50 per hour. A valid driver’s license is required, with experience levels ranging from law enforcement to security

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience, or 3+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Screen visitors, contractors, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer Vehicle Entry Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
