Qualifications

• 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as required by law.
• Background histories considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers at a production location by following access-control procedures and security policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and direct authorized individuals.
• Screen traffic including deliveries and vendor access according to facility procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents and alarms; notify site contacts and responders as needed.
• Conduct patrols of entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points to deter unauthorized access.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers at a food and beverage production location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Screen incoming and outgoing traffic as required, including deliveries and vendor access, while following established facility procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when applicable.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, perimeter points, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
