Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Access Control Reception in Breinigsville, PA. You will manage entry points, verify access, monitor activity, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a food and beverage site. The role offers flexible shifts and the ability to claim additional hours through our shift-platform.

Pay is $15.25 per hour. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, background check and drug screen as required

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures.
• Verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals.
• Deter unauthorized entry by monitoring activity and reporting unusual events.
• Respond calmly to access-related incidents per site procedures.
• Conduct patrols of entrances, parking, and perimeter as directed.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry by observing incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries, and reporting unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to access-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
