Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Credential Verification in Whitakers, NC. You will guard client sites, manage entry points, verify badges, and assist visitors and employees while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Whitakers, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a welcoming, security-related environment by managing entry points, verifying badges and credentials, monitoring access activity, and assisting visitors and employees. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support routine site operations with integrity. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access‑related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, production‑area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with personnel and visitors while following Allied Universal and site‑specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Hold CPR and First Aid certification, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
