Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Credential Verification in Whitakers, NC. You will manage site access, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and respond to security concerns while delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

This full-time role offers a daytime pay rate of $18.00 per hour and a schedule that includes Monday through Friday shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Site has limited on-site facilities (toilets, rustic guard shacks).
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access logs.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned manufacturing areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, maintain professional communication with site personnel, and complete required reports and documentation.

As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by managing site access, verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and responding to security-related concerns. • Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
