Formación

• Minimum 2 years of security experience.

• Access control and badge experience (preferred).
• CPR certification (preferred).

• Ages 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor badge activity, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology infrastructure location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building entrances, perimeter locations, and other designated access points, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding access issues, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Hold CPR certification, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
