Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify authorization credentials, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with established access-control procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and unusual observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
