Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Access Control) in Moncks Corner, SC. You will manage entry/exit points, verify badges, and provide customer service to staff and visitors while patrolling the site.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and background plus drug screening per policy. Flexible weekend shifts and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while executing site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests to locations.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Assist with traffic flow and delivery coordination at designated access points and deter unauthorized entry.

This driving position requires a valid driver's license. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of automotive facility buildings, parking areas, vehicle storage locations, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Assist with traffic flow and delivery coordination at designated access points while helping to deter unauthorized entry and support orderly site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
