Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Access Control in Fort Worth, TX. You will protect residents and enforce site policies while delivering excellent customer service in a dynamic, community-focused environment.

As a Part-Time role, you can build a flexible schedule via our Claim a Shift platform. The position requires basic computer skills, badge access experience, and a high school diploma, with background checks and drug screening as part of the process.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide access-control procedures and guest services at the site.

• Conduct patrols of entrances, common areas, and parking to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, deliveries, and service personnel entering the residential community.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to the appropriate contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
