Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control in Denison, TX. You will provide customer service at a manufacturing and industrial site, enforce access control procedures, verify credentials, and respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.

The role features fixed anchor shifts with a six‑month commitment and the ability to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, offering flexibility to earn more.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, issue temporary badges as authorized, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregularities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production‑adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Maintain accurate access control records, complete required reports, and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control in Denison, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
