Allied Universal in Frisco, TX is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Vehicle Driver to safeguard residents and visitors in a residential community. This part-time role involves managing entry points, patrolling, and ensuring security procedures are followed while providing courteous customer service.

You will use access-control systems, monitor alarm panels, and respond to incidents as trained, with a schedule that includes evenings and overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy.
• State or local security license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor and control entry/exit at residential community access points, verify authorized access, and document activity.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns in a calm, professional manner per site policy.
• Conduct regular patrols of residential areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Maintain logs, reports, and communications regarding access activity, incidents, patrols, and conditions.

As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor alarm panels, and provide courteous service to residents and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with the team. This is a driving post. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit at residential community access points, verify authorized access, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site policy.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and shift communications regarding access activity, incidents, patrols, and unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
