Qualifications

• Experience with access-control procedures is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Must be 18+ (unarmed) or 21+ (armed) as applicable.
• Background check as required by law.
• Background/history review per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.

As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying badges and visitor access, and supporting security-related procedures. You will use computer or tablet systems, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide a visible presence that helps deter incidents. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor records, issuing access credentials as authorized, and directing individuals to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-related areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access-control logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
