Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing per state/local laws; may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue badges, and maintain access records.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents; notify personnel and document activities per protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, production areas, parking, and perimeter to identify security concerns.
• Direct visitors, enforce entry requirements, and deter unauthorized access.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor or contractor badges, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.
• Support a professional, orderly environment by directing visitors, enforcing site entry requirements, and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
