Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Access Control in High Point, NC to protect people, property and assets across a food and beverage production site. • At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor records, and control access to restricted areas within a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and receiving areas to help identify unauthorized access and security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, access exceptions, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
