Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Access Control in Batchelor, LA. You will monitor entry points, verify badges, and support access control in a manufacturing setting while delivering professional customer service.

This full-time role includes night shifts, training, and opportunities for growth within a safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service through access control, badge verification, and policy enforcement.
• Monitor entry/exit points and screen authorized personnel and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and security issues, reporting to site contacts.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, production spaces, parking areas, and perimeters.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $11.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Monday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Tuesday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Wednesday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Thursday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification, and other security-related policies at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, screen authorized personnel and deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access to manufacturing and industrial areas in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building entrances, production-adjacent spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as work environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
