Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Authorization in De Soto, KS. You will monitor, patrol, and protect client sites, manage access points, and deliver excellent customer service in a technology-focused environment.

Formación

• Access control and badge experience preferred.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures and escalate as needed.
• Respond calmly to incidents and alarms following post orders and notification protocols.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports and communicate with leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service. You will use communication and computer skills to support a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM
• Wed: 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM
• Thur: 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM
• Sat: 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM
• Sun: 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology-focused office areas, common spaces, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and escalating concerns to designated personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notification protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and shift reports while maintaining professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
