Responsibilities

• Keep up-to-date knowledge of resort events, dining options, outlet hours, etc.
• Provide exceptional customer service while verifying identification of all guests, members, and visitors entering property.
• Perform a wide range of security tasks including patrolling, incident reports, responding to calls, and assisting guests, members, and employees.
• Adhere to Reunion Resort and Golf Club procedures and policies.
• Partner with HR for incident reports and investigations.
• Verify authorization for entry by residents, guests, or visitors if not recognized.
• Inspect posts and vehicles before shift; complete and hand to Site Manager a facility/vehicle inspection report.
• Maintain pass-down logs for posts and patrols; report critical information daily.
• Log gate access and items in care (mail, packages, keys) accurately.
• Conduct patrol verifications using the patrol verification system.
• Respond to calls for service as requested.
• Inspect property and roads; document patrols in logs.
• Assist with traffic and safety enforcement on the property.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to safety procedures.

Officers are to verify identification of a resident, guest or visitor if they do not know them by face and name.* Inspect the safety, cleanliness and preparedness of the assignment (Gatehouse, Patrol Vehicle or Security Office) prior to accepting the post from the Officer you are relieving. Each shift change will complete a facility or vehicle inspection report and turn it in to the Site Manager.* Each post and patrol will maintain a pass down log to report critical information concerning that post or patrol. Security Officers will record and review all printed pass-on materials, emails or faxes, etc. into a pass down log. This log is mandatory for all post and is intended to insure Officer’s awareness of activities that may impact operations or the security of the property.* Maintain an accurate and complete log of all gate access and any items placed in the Officer’s care, such as, mail, packages, keys, etc.* Conduct visual and physical surveys of unoccupied residents and construction sites documenting the patrols using the patrol verification system.* Respond to calls for service as requested.* Conduct physical inspection of the property, facility and building and patrol the roadways of the property. Document the patrols using the patrol log and patrol verification system.* Assist with providing traffic and safety enforcement of vehicles driving on property* Attend all required meetings and trainings.* Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to meet business needs.* Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and brand service standards.## Qualifications* Must be 18 years of age or older* Valid DL is required* Must have or be able to obtain a Class D Security License within 30 days of employment* Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required based on business need.* Must have attention to detail, strong ability to multi-task, and time-management skills* Security experience of at least 1 year is preferred. Large luxury resort/hotel experience is a plus* Must have strong verbal and written communication skills* Must have strong computer skills* Must be able to sit, stand, run, and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to complete repetitive motions throughout shift such as reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, etc.* Comfortable to perform the essential functions of the role in various types of Florida weather conditions including: sunshine, heat, and rain.* Comfortable to complete repetitive motions, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.* English language proficiency is required to perform the essential functions of this position.
