Job summary

Rosie’s Gaming Emporium – Vinton is seeking a Security Officer to paint interior and exterior areas of the building and assist with maintenance and related tasks in Vinton, VA. The role includes performing painting, basic repairs, landscaping assistance, and preventive maintenance assessments.

A high school diploma is required, with vocational certification preferred and at least two years of related experience. A valid racing license must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Performs general painting and touch-ups while taking care of painting tools.
• Performs general electrical repairs and modifications, general plumbing repairs and modification, and general carpentry.
• Assists with all aspects of landscaping.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections of facility-related equipment and systems; makes repairs as necessary.
• Keeps the supervisor informed of any problems or issues.
• Resolves problems within scope and reports beyond-scope issues to supervisor.

Job Summary

Responsible for painting interiors and exteriors of building; may include parking lot. Responsible for proper maintenance and repair of property and equipment.

Compensation is $ 17.00 per hour

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs general painting and touch-ups while taking care of painting tools.
• Performs general electrical repairs and modifications, general plumbing repairs and modification, and general carpentry.
• Assists with all aspects of landscaping.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections of all facility - related equipment and systems; makes repairs and adjustments as necessary.
• Keeps the supervisor informed of any problems or issues.
• Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position’s supervisor.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or technical certification in related fields preferred.
• Two years' work experience in related field.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
