ValorHospitality is seeking a Security Officer to monitor hotel properties, respond to incidents, and ensure guest and staff safety. The role requires vigilance, quick decision-making, and effective communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities include patrolling all hotel areas, logging incidents, managing key security, and assisting with emergency procedures. A high school diploma is required, with on-site duties and physical tasks expected daily.

• Strong knowledge of hotel layout and life safety systems.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, and lifting.
• Proficient in computer-based report writing and data entry.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills.

• Document daily security reports noting incidents of theft, accidents, and safety issues.
• Investigate security incidents and maintain familiarity with disaster and emergency procedures.
• Respond immediately to alarms or calls for help; notify authorities and perform first aid or CPR as needed.
• Secure hotel key control; manage key issuance and receipt; assist with cash handling when needed.
• Assist in shipping/receiving operations and enforce the No Solicitation Policy.

Note, search for, handle and report any unusual circumstances, safety violations, car theft, destruction and/or suspicious or undesirable persons and escort off property, if necessary.Document a concise security report on a daily log including incidents of theft, accidents and safety violations.Complete the necessary security forms to document losses of property or personal injury to guest or associate.
