Mark Twain Casino is seeking a Security Officer to monitor casino areas, safeguard assets, and protect guests, employees, and property. The role includes patrolling, assisting guests and team members, and following strict security procedures.

Job description

The Security Officer monitors all casino areas to ensure safety and security.

Retention incentives available for this position up to $1,000! In addition to hourly wage, a shift differential will be added to 2 nd and 3 rd shifts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safeguards assets of the company.
• Provides for the protection of guests, employees, and property.
• Patrols assigned areas and assists guests and team members as needed.
• Examines doors, windows, gates, etc, to ensure they are secure
• May occasionally perform other safety incidental duties, only when guest safety is an issue
• Completes the inspection procedures for used cards and dice, if authorized.
• Completes the canceling or destroying procedures for cards and dice, if authorized.
• Other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervisor or management

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Missouri Gaming Level II Gaming License required.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
