Job summary

Mark Twain Casino in Missouri is seeking a vigilant Surveillance Officer to monitor all areas via CCTV and floor surveillance, ensuring protection of assets and compliance with company and state regulations. You will work under Surveillance Senior Operators or the Manager and provide information to assist other departments.

The role requires integrity, confidentiality, and the ability to multitask across tasks. A high school diploma and at least one year in gaming security are preferred.

  • Supports managers, directors, and executives with assistance and information relating to the protection of assets in their respective departments, as well as fellow operators in the performance of their duties.
  • Must proactively notify management of any gaming, procedural, and policy violations.
  • Must remain impartial and keep all actions and behaviors observed confidential

Job description

To conduct continuous surveillance of all areas of the casino via floor surveillance and use of the CCTV system as directed by Surveillance Senior Operators or the Manager in compliance with the Commission, departmental, and company regulations.

In addition to hourly wage, a shift differential will be added to 2 nd and 3 rd shifts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Continuously monitor CCTV, closely scrutinizing all activities within camera range to ensure the protection of company assets.
  • Supports managers, directors, and executives with assistance and information relating to the protection of assets in their respective departments, as well as fellow operators in the performance of their duties.
  • Must proactively notify management of any gaming, procedural, and policy violations.
  • Must remain impartial and keep all actions and behaviors observed confidential

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year previous experience in similar position within the gaming industry preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Missouri Gaming Level II Gaming License required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English both verbal and written.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have high level computer skills with experience in excel.
