Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Dispatch Driver in Freeport, TX to protect client sites across chemical/petrochemical industries. You will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and support timely incident responses, using strong customer service and teamwork.

The full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, 1+ year of security experience, and a TSA TWIC. You will log incidents, conduct patrols, and assist on-site personnel during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required in state of job location.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience required.
• TSA-issued TWIC required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Must be at least 18 (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize calls, document incidents, and coordinate response of on-site personnel and emergency resources.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records for alarms, access concerns, incidents, and field activities.
• Respond to incidents calmly, following site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of the site and perimeter, reporting hazards and maintenance needs.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize calls for service, document incidents, and coordinate the response of on‑site personnel and emergency resources.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records for alarms, access concerns, incidents, and other security‑related activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• A TSA‑issued TWIC is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
