Qualifications

• As a minimum, 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required where the job is located (Texas).
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required for this role.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor calls, radio traffic, alarms, and dispatch communications; relay pertinent information to responders.
• Coordinate responses to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Maintain dispatch logs, incident reports, and visitor/contractor records per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and perimeter and report hazards or policy concerns.

As a Security Officer TWIC in Freeport, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, manage access-related information, and support timely responses to security-related incidents. You will maintain a professional presence, deliver exceptional customer service, and help deter incidents through clear communication and attention to detail. This is a driving position. Job Schedule:

• Wed 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor incoming calls, radio traffic, alarms, and dispatch communications; document and relay pertinent information to appropriate personnel and responders.
• Coordinate responses to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, visitor or contractor information, and other required records in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
