Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer TWIC in Freeport, TX. This role supports chemical/petrochemical locations with a focus on customer service, incident response, and security best practices. It is a driving position with day shifts and a full-time schedule.

You will monitor communications, coordinate responses, maintain logs, and perform patrols. Requirements include a valid driver's license, TWIC, and at least 1 year of security experience; salary is $21.63 per hour.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor incoming calls, radio traffic, alarms, and dispatch communications; document and relay pertinent information to appropriate personnel and responders.
• Coordinate responses to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, visitor or contractor information, and other required records in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
