Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Identity Validation Driver in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a culture that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and grounded in integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical facility.
• Monitor access control points by verifying credentials, managing visitor entry processes, and documenting access-related activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, and the facility perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and potential hazards.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitors, deliveries, incidents, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
