Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by TSA is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and coordinate alarms, cameras, radios, telephones, and access control systems, documenting activities and escalating concerns.
• Dispatch security‑related personnel and coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Maintain dispatch logs, incident reports, and visitor or contractor information.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter and report issues.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor and coordinate communications from alarms, cameras, radios, telephones, and access control systems, documenting activities and escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Dispatch security‑related personnel and coordinate responses to incidents, medical emergencies, hazardous‑material concerns, fire alarms, and other critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, visitor or contractor information, and other required records while communicating clearly with site personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, reporting unusual conditions, access concerns, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
