The Four Seasons Hotel Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard employees and guests, patrol the property, monitor surveillance, and report incidents. Ideal candidates bring strong communication, calmness under pressure, solid computer skills, and excellent teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Ensure overall safety for all employees and hotel guests; secure premises by patrolling property.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings, equipment, and access points; report irregularities.
• Assist VIP and group arrivals/departures and complete incident reports by recording observations and information.
• Support a dynamic employee culture and adhere to Four Seasons policies and safety procedures.

The Security Officer

Will ensure overall safety for all employees and hotel guests; Ensure the safety of all employees and guests; secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers. Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; assist in VIP and group arrivals/departures.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

The qualified candidate will possess a passion for flawless service and the highest level of integrity and work ethic. Prior experience with safety and security within a hotel and/or law enforcement a plus.
