Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Security Officer for the 2nd shift in Faribault, MN. This full-time role involves maintaining a safe environment, monitoring the premises, and enforcing site regulations for personnel and visitors.

Responsibilities include access control, patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering strong customer service to client staff. Candidates should have 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and solid tech skills; driving certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.

• Above average computer/tech skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills required.

They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Security Officer - Full Time Primary Location: Faribault, MN Wage: $22.13/HR 2nd Shift Mon - Fri The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.

• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
