Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. Northfield, MN location is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for clients through access control, patrolling, and reporting safety issues. Customer service and strong observation are essential.

You must be 18+, have a High School Diploma or GED, and be able to work independently while staying calm in stressful situations. Pre-employment screening including drug tests and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to stay calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Must have attention to detail and remain vigilant during shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid judgement and escalation.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out tasks and duties of similar nature as required.

Wage: $19.00/HR
The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect
