Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Flex Security Officer for full-time shifts in St. Paul, MN.

The role will maintain a secure environment by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling multiple client sites. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, strong customer service, the ability to work independently, and CPR/FA and driving certifications. Safety and alertness are essential in daily duties, with ongoing training provided and

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Flex Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: St. Paul, MN

Wage Range: $20.80-$21.65/HR

2nd & 3rd Shift Available!!

The Flex Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Previous security / law enforcement / military experience preferred.
• Must be able to travel to several sites across the metro area.
• CPR / FA certifications.
• Safe Driving certification.
• Must have a strong command presence.
• Must be comfortable engaging with the public constantly and stepping in during irate customer situations.
