Job summary

Hyatt Regency Dallas is seeking a Security Officer to join a high-caliber team at the downtown Dallas property adjacent to Reunion Tower. The role focuses on safeguarding guests and staff, adhering to security procedures, and documenting incidents as they occur.

The position requires flexibility, including nights and weekends, and outdoor work in varying temperatures. Strong communication and basic computer skills are essential, with prior security experience preferred.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances.
• Position requires constant exposure to the outdoor elements including hot and cold temperatures; candidate must be alright with working primarily outside.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Previous security experience preferred.
