Job summary

Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill is seeking a Security Officer to ensure safety for guests and colleagues. The role involves patrolling the hotel, monitoring cameras, and completing incident reports, with a night shift schedule from 11:00pm to 7:30am and flexibility for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Proficient in basic computer skills.
Previous security experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

The Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the hotel guests and colleagues.
Follow departmental safety and security standards and patrol the building.
Monitor cameras and complete incident reports as required.
Work primarily 11:00pm-7:30am with flexibility for weekends and holidays.

The Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the hotel guests and colleagues. This person will follow departmental safety and security standards, patrol the building, monitor cameras, complete incident reports, and other tasks as required. This position will work primarily 11:00pm-7:30am, with flexibility needed to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays.

The hourly rate for this position is $24.00.
