Responsibilities

• Assist sick and injured guests and employees; ensure documentation of reports.
• Maintain records and perform basic office duties (camera monitoring, logs, binder interaction).
• Assist supervisor in checking alarm systems and monitoring doors, service areas and deliveries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description Summary

Responsible for the safeguarding of hotel property, assets, guests, visitors and employees

Job Description

• Patrol hotel property to ensure the safety of guests and employees and to protect all hotel assets.
• Answer house calls assist guests and employees with respect to safety, security and hotel operations.
• Initiate and follow-up all investigations of crimes committed against property and persons. Initiate investigations, write incident and accident reports, monitor investigations to their timely conclusion and ensure appropriate follow-up with guests, visitors and employees, documenting all contacts.
• Assist sick and injured guests and employees, ensuring documentation and disposition of reports.
• Maintain accurate records while performing basic office duties including, but not limited to, camera monitoring, shift activity log, codebook, and employee and guest binder interaction.
• Assist supervisor in checking alarm systems, safety and fire equipment systems and closely monitoring security of building doors, service areas and delivery areas.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
• 3+ years Security/Loss & Prevention experience required
• Four-year degree in hospitality or other business-related field preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
• Extensive knowledge of hotel and hospitality industry.

Pay Range

$24.00 to $26.00 Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific experience/overall experience.
