Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Brooklyn Park, MN. The role focuses on maintaining a safe environment through access control, rounds, and vigilant observation while delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, strong computer skills, and the ability to work independently. Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience is preferred, with CPR/First Aid certification

High School Diploma or GED required.
Above average computer / technology skills needed.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
Must have a professional demeanor.
Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including a urinalysis drug screen and a 10 year background investigation.
CPR / First Aide certification.
1 year of security experience.
Previous law enforcement or military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe environment through access control and patrolling.
Identify and report safety issues and suspicious activity.
Provide customer service to the client’s employees and guests.
Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
Utilize technology devices during shift.
Conduct tours of the property.
Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Schedule: Fri: 0830 - 1730 / Sat: 0830 - 1330

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
