Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment at client sites. The role involves monitoring premises, enforcing access control, patrolling diverse locations, and reporting safety concerns.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, the ability to work independently, and remain calm under pressure. Relevant security experience and a professional demeanor are preferred, with comprehensive pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Monitor premises and enforce access control and patrolling.

Conduct property tours and assist with security operations.
Utilize technology devices during shifts.
Carry out tasks similar in scope as required for site.

TheSecurity Guard helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
Conduct tours of the property.
Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

18 years of age or older.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Above average computer / technology skills needed.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
Must have a professional demeanor.
Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
Driver Certified.
Must have 1 year of security experience.
