Job summary

Securitas is hiring a Security Officer for a full-time, on-site role in Denver, CO. The position involves monitoring premises, access control, and patrolling client sites while enforcing regulations and directives.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and calmly under pressure. Comprehensive benefits and paid training are provided.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.

• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises.

Wages

• Base: $20.47/HR
• After 6 Months: $23.18/HR
• After 1 Year: $23.67/HR

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect
