Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in Uniondale, NY. The role offers flexible, fixed anchor shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform to boost earnings.

You will protect tenants, visitors, and staff while enforcing site policies and procedures, with a primary assignment and a 6-month commitment. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and background checks.

• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and vendor activity in accordance with property procedures; provide directions and assistance as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver in Uniondale, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
