Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced for Tonawanda, NY. This role offers fixed shifts with Anchor Shifts and an option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

The position requires a valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates may be eligible for a Guard Card/License, background check, and drug screening as part of the hiring process. The pay rate is $16.91 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid driver/w license required per policy.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and maintain awareness of contractor and delivery activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and other security-related activities accurately and complete required reports in a timely manner.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Driver Patrol in Tonawanda, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Document patrol observations, incidents, and other security-related activities accurately and complete required reports in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
