Job summary

Hudson Regional Health is seeking a Security Officer for a per diem, evening shift at Hoboken University Hospital in Hoboken, NJ. The role involves protecting people and property, maintaining a 24/7 security presence and guiding visitors and staff to correct locations.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, NJ driver’s license, and security experience. Hospital setting experience is preferred, SORA license optional.

Responsibilities

• Reports all doors that are left open after hours or unattended offices.
• Directs visitors, patients, vendors to correct locations; distributes passes
• Conducts security rounds for safety violations
• Reports all hazardous conditions to the proper departments
• Monitors cameras / alarms at command posts
• Investigates all (police type) incident reports

What You'll Be Doing

Ensures the protection of persons and property from harm as a result of acts of violations of laws, policy, procedures or regulatory requirements. Provides safety and security 24 hours a day.
